Kindness Farm

The Kindness Farm is a first-generation immigrant, refugee, & queer led 501c3 nonprofit farm in SE Portland. They cultivate equitable access to healthy produce, provide education on growing food, care for the land using regenerative agriculture, and foster a vibrant community. The Parkrose Educational Foundation awarded a grant to help ensure that that all third grade classrooms in the district had the opportunity to travel to the Kindness Farm to learn about basic gardening practices and how they might start to grow their own food! Kindness Farm and the Parkrose School District are hoping to continue these educational field trips in the future so that all students have some experience with learning how to grow their own healthy produce!
